Job Description
Designation: Biomedical Engineer
Industry Type: Healthcare
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration schedule for medical equipment.
Develop and update medical equipment inventory.
Supervise any installation of new devices with a responsible supplier.
Develop and apply all required equipment labels such as preventive maintenance, out of service labels, and electrical safety labels.
Regularly check the medical equipment's performance.
Contact suppliers, providing service to the hospital.
Comply with the hospital infection control guidelines.
Organise and demonstrate training for new equipment.
Contribute with the team in any technical Problem.
Monitor the performance and quality of the service contracts with KPIs indicators periodically.
Review medical equipment recalls and take appropriate actions to ensure the affected equipment is tested or removed from service, where appropriate.
Cooperate with the manager for preparing annual plans for the department and renewing service contracts.
Technical specification and conditions preparation for purchasing new medical equipment.
Technical evaluation of the announced tenders.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 3-4 Years of Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering.
Language: Excellent command of English language.
