Designation: Medical Coder

This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Coder at SEHAT Healthcare Management located in Dubai. The Medical Coder will be responsible for assigning codes to medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS code sets. The Medical Coder will also ensure accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of clinical information and maintain knowledge and proficiency in Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding.
> Coding Experience and proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS code sets
> Valid RHIT certification or Associate's Degree in Health Information Management
> Expertise in Medical Terminology and Anatomy
> Proficiency in Medical Coding
> Attention to detail, including the ability to accurately and efficiently code within a deadline-driven environment
> Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement, and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) would be beneficial.
