Designation: Clinical Psychologist
Functional Area: Diagnostic/ Therapeutic
Industry Type: Medical/ Healthcare Looking for Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our growing Psychiatric Department in Multi-Specialty Medical Center in IBO Sharjah.
The psychologist is responsible for providing mental health services, counseling, and therapy to clients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:
> Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, including gathering information through interviews, observation, and psychological testing.
> Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs, goals, and diagnosis.
> Offer counseling and therapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
> Provide support and guidance to clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, relationship issues, and more.
> Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to the therapy plan as needed.
> Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
> Stay updated on current research and developments in the field of psychology, attending professional development workshops, conferences, and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
> Proven experience in conducting assessments, providing counseling services, and implementing therapy plans.
> Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies.
> Solid understanding of ethical and legal obligations in the field of psychology.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: A minimum of a master's degree in psychology or a related field.

License: MOH or DHA convertible to MOH
