Key Responsibilities
Accurately code and abstract urgent care/ Emergency department medical records, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with Physicians & other medical staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures for accurate code assignment.
Review patient records to verify completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation.
Stay updated on coding changes and industry best practices to maintain high-quality coding standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity throughout the coding process.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' urgent care/ Emergency department coding experience in a hospital environment based in Abu Dhabi.
Certification required CPC or CCS. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes.
Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
